Little Bear is a loyal playful dog. He is a real character, yet he has an independent state of mind. Around the house Bearit like to play with the cat who in turn likes to play back. He is the leader with the other dogs, Camile, Figgy and Phoebie. He lives with co-owner Jill Christian. In the show ring Bearit is a put-together package that exemplifies the conformation & temperament odescribed in the rat terrier standard. His first weekend out he was Best Puppy of Multi-Breed Show, Twice! His career then continued as a class dog taking 7 Best of Winners and one Best Male (no female competition) at the ARTA Nationals, before we moved him up to the champion class. His first Champion class was Premier June 17th, 2006, where he picked up a Premier Award of Merit! Bearit has continued in the conformation ring earning 3 legs toward his Grand Championship.
