In July of 2005 when John and I moved onto 10 acres, outside of Olympia Washington, we finally had the room to expand our Kennels. We love our rat terriers and did not want to go outside of the original Ratty family which includes both the American Hairless Terrier (AHT) and the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier (TRT).
Our first additional breed therefore was the AHT. As both of us are allergy sufferers (cats, trees and grasses) we knew what it was like to be symptomatic, and the misery that it causes. We don't know what it would be like without our beloved dogs so it has become our desire to expand the availablity of the AHT on the West Coast for allergy sufferers.
Our Poochville AHT's will be bred for Structure, Function and Temperament. We plan to show our breeding dogs, only breeding the best to the best. Our new owners will go through rigid placements for the pups we produce.
We will follow the AHT's guidelines for the Outcross Program. For more about the AHT we suggest reading the vast amount of knowledge to be found at the AHT Association website.
