Martin has a very nice toplineand a solid neck. His natual bob tail adds pluck to his step. He is a very determined and focused dog. His bright red-sable coloring makes him look like a fireball when he gets going. Playing with him is a hoot! All of the tug-o-war, retrieving, and screaming around the house adds spunk to our household.
Martin's son UF USR GRCH Poochville's Bogus Regime NBT DNA-P has followed in his father's footsteps and become the next Poochville stud dog. They both have the Rat Terrier spirit, hunting abilities, lovable nature and conformation of this wonderful breed.
Martin has traveled up and down the West Coast to attend UKC Shows.
Martin has hit the UKC Show Scene with a BANG!
We are please to announce that Martin completed his Championship in 4 shows early in 2001. He was the Best of Breed Rat Terrier at the Oregon Eski show in Salem 4/7/01-
In mid-April we traveled to Reno NV for a weekend of ratty fun and UKC events. Martin was the Champion of Champions on 4/21/01 - thank you Judge Sandra Drake! And then on Sunday 4/22/01 he did it again-- thanks to Judge Susan Nikkel. We have hopes that he will remain in the UKC Top Ten listing for 2001.
Martin received his Therapy Dog Certification in May 2001. Please check out the Delta Society for information on therapy work being done with animals. It is quite exciting.
As of October 1st 2001 Martin has had 7 Best of Breeds!!!!! He is the First Pacific NW Rat Terrier who has attained Grand Champion status. Martin was the 2001 Rat terrier Specialty Best of Breed in Conneticut August 17th 2001.
