DIGGING at Canyon Creek.........
POLKA discoverd digging very early on. Marcia's yard will never be the Same! I remember the phone call from Marcia... "Julia, these pups are digging up my yard!" ... WELCOME TO PUPPYHOOD! Every corner and crook and cranny of Marcia's yard had puppies digging in them.

Polka was born at Marcia Meyers Canyon Creek Kennels. We have been eagerly antcapating this litter so on the day they were born I went up to Marcia's to see the little Darlings and help her with dew claws and tails. Shirley Stich was there too. The puppies were such a wonder to see. Polka had the misfortune of being the first puppy born out of an inexperienced mom, Macy got alittle excited getting the bag off of her and snipped a piece of Polkas ear. Polka's white ear will always be stubby because of it. Now we don't even notice it and we hope the Judges won't either!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful companion. Polka is a joy and spunk that was missing around here. She is a favorite of Ian's and I could not imagine what life would be like without her.
