CCH Stella Pooch - 12 pounds 12.5 inches Loving Family Dog
Her heavily tan face, sometimes refered to as a red headed calico, accents the traditional tri coloring common in the rat terrier. Stella is our son Alec's dog. She is his shadow. She sleeps with him. She has a gentle personality and loves to hike on the beach as much as she likes to cuddle in front of the TV or lay in front of the fire. She is a true family dog with no personal preferences (but don't tell Alec that!)
Stella has recently taken a shine to the show ring. She won Best of Variety (Mini) at both UKC shows in Graham, Wa August 26th and 27th 2000 under Judges Debra Allen and Joe Allen.. In competition at Modesto, CA on September 2 & 3, 2000 she won her class (Veteren Female Mini) at all three shows under Dennis Blickenstaff, Susan Nikkel, and Henry Buresch. In Portland Oregon on September 16 & 17th 2000 STELLA GOT HER TWO MAJORS! We were so very excited! Judge Richard Klatt and Judge Betty Umberto Both placed Stella as Best Female! The American Eskimo Dog Association of Oregon put on a Wonderful SHOW- it was so much fun to see familiar faces.
UPDATE: 11/4/00 Stella Recieved her CHAMPIONSHIP! Being the great girl that she is she flew all the way to Lexington Kentucky to participate in the show hosted by the Kentucky Toy Fox Terrier Assoc. . Judge Karen McDermitt put her over the top with her placing Stella as the Best Female of Variety. The biggest hug of a thanks goes to Josh Moore for showing Stella, Lisa Moore for making all of Stella's arrangments, and the whole Moore family for welcoming her into your homes.
We are excited in participate in the Champion Ring for the upcoming 2001 shows.
Stella has also proven to produce excellent pups that now live and show all across the nation.
